So I followed your link to download and install (because the program won't open at all for me, telling me I need to do this), and I get error messages, the first saying it didn't install because of an error, and then I have an error log. I've captured both, will try to post them in a moment ...

And needless to say, my Vueminder is still not opening.

Any suggestion, I'll take it.

Hi amyrpk, please try the following and let me know if this doesn't fix it.

On the Start menu, go to Accessories. Right-click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator". At the command prompt, type the following commands and then press Enter after each line.

net stop WuAuServ
cd %windir%
move SoftwareDistribution SDold
net start WuAuServ
exit

After doing this, try running the .NET Framework 4.0 installation again by downloading from the link below. Does it work?
