Some suggestions
Some suggestions
I use VueMinder trial for two days only and missed some important features:
1) Subtasks
2) Start day for tasks
3) Use task completion as start condition for the next task.
4) Wrap tasks and events titles.
One more suggestion: UI must be extremely polished. Theme Editor seems to have a lot of features but I's very hard to understand. I didn't find even how to change tab's and calendar font style.
P.S. One more: auto hide in N minutes option needed.

Re: Some suggestions
Hi reythards, welcome to the forums and thanks for the suggestions.
A walkthrough can be found here:

There's additional documentation here:

Thanks again for the feedback. Please let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions.
I'm working on this improvement for the next version.1) Subtasks
There's a "Has start time" checkbox in the task editor. If the task takes multiple days, a duration can be specified to the right of the start time field. In that case, the "Has due date" box is actually the starting date of the task. I'll improve the next version to make this more clear.2) Start day for tasks
I have this on my list of planned improvements. I'll let you know when it's available.3) Use task completion as start condition for the next task.
This is already a feature in the Pro version. To enable word-wrapping, click the view settings button in the upper-right corner (looks like a gear) and then check the "Word Wrap" option.4) Wrap tasks and events titles.
The font style is specified near the middle of the role editor window, which appears at the bottom of the screen. Usually, you can hover the mouse over a tab to see while roles it uses, and then press a number key to edit the associated role. One more suggestion: UI must be extremely polished. I'm not sure if you mean auto-hide for a reminder, or something else. You can do this with a desktop alert by checking the "Automatically snooze" box. More information can be found here:P.S. One more: auto hide in N minutes option needed.

I mean the VM window itself.I'm not sure if you mean auto-hide for a reminder, or something else.
Re: Some suggestions
I found it only for events in Month view mode. And what about tasks list? This is already a feature in the Pro version. To enable word-wrapping, click the view settings button in the upper-right corner (looks like a gear) and then check the "Word Wrap" option.

Thanks. I take my words back. Styling system is great!

Re: Some suggestions
Task tooltip should be wrapped too. Look at the screenshot: http://postimage.org/image/1l83bhft0/
I think the maximum row width should be limited by number of characters, not screen resolution.

Re: Some suggestions
Hi reythards, thanks for the screenshot. I'm not sure why it isn't wrapping. Also, there's an additional tooltip that shouldn't be there (the one in yellow). Are you using Windows XP?
Here's what I see on Windows 7:

Do you see the same problem for event tooltips? Does it only happen in the list view, or does it also happen in the calendar view?

Thanks, installing now!
Re: Some suggestions
Some new suggestions:
1) Some options will be useful when task is created (modified) that override default settings:
- show in Calendar (yes / no)
- show in tray balloon (yes / no)
2) Do not show all occurrences of recurring events when adding link to existing event.
3) When adding link to existing item automatically add back link from that item.

Re: Some suggestions
Hi reythards, thanks for the suggestions.
Regarding #3, this should already be happening. have you found a case where the back-link isn't being created? Note, you have to click "Save and Close" on the editor window before the back-link gets generated.
