Adding a day number to a calendar

Post by kevmeist » Sat Dec 11, 2010 2:26 pm

Is it possible to add a sequential day number to each day in the calendar? So, Jan 1st = 1, Jan 2nd = 2 etc, etc

Thanks

Kevin

Hi kevmeist, welcome to the forums. The day number (of the month) is shown at the top of each date in the Month view. I'm guessing you're referring to being able to see a day of year number. Is that the case? If so, you can hover over the date in the Navigation Pane. The day of year will be included in a tooltip, as shown in the example circled below:

If that's not sufficient, you could create a recurring event. Set the start date to Jan 1, and the recurrence pattern so it occurs every day. There's an option to show the occurrence number in the event title, so if you make the title blank you will just see the occurrence number (i.e., the day of year number).

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I've misunderstood or if you have any other questions.
