meeting request notification emails

I am having issues with the meeting request notification emails working correctly for new events. I have never had to configure any email settings with previous versions. I have the newest version 7.3.0.

Is it required that I configure some sort of email settings for the requests to be sent out and if so what do I need to configure?

Hi conservationedu,

Meeting requests in version 7.3.0 are sent differently than in past versions. The changes are explained in more detail here. Instead of using your default mail client, VueMinder will now send the email directly. In order for it to work properly, you'll need to configure your email settings under "Options -> Email Settings". Also, the meeting recipients will need email addresses entered in VueMinder, under "Tools -> Contacts".
