VueMinder Startup

Hi,
I am a first time user of VueMinder and so using the VueMinder Lite version 7.3
While the inital installation went smooth enough, I cannot get the application to load. After the initial splash screen, nothing really happens!
I'm using a Eee PC netbook Windows XP. And this is also not the system startup but only this application alone.

Hi amolgo, welcome to the forums.

Do you see the VueMinder icon in the task tray? You may need to show hidden icons, if it's not displayed. To make the main window appear, double-click the icon in the task tray.

If you don't see the VueMinder icon in the task tray, is "vueminder.exe" running? To check, right-click an empty area of the task bar and select "Task Manager". Switch to the processes tab and then look at the list of running processes. You should see "vueminder.exe". If not, then it sounds like there's a problem with the program loading on your computer. The most likely culprit would be a bad Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installation. To fix it, uninstall VueMinder and then follow the steps described in the following link:

After repairing the framework, try reinstalling VueMinder. I hope that helps!
