Printing - time range?

Post by Darwin » Tue Aug 31, 2010 11:38 am

I'd like to be able to have the print out that I do of my monthly calendar indicate either the time range of an event and/or the duration of the event. When I print my calendar out, the start time of each event is printed. Is this already possible?

Hi Darwin, currently there's no way to specify the ending time should be shown when printing the Monthly layout. I'll see if I can make this an option. My concern is this will decrease the amount of space available for event titles. However, when word-wrapping is added, this will be less of any issue. And in any case, I'll make it something that can be toggled on or off from the Print window.

Thank you for the suggestion, and please let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions.

Hi Dan,

Thank you for this! The reduced real estate for even titles issue had occurred to me. One work around might be to have the event duration printed after the event name. For example:

3:50pm Piano (45 min.)

Just a thought...

Another space saver might be to use a 24 hour clock, so the above becomes:

15:50 Piano (45 min.)

My concern is really for events that are more than one hour long.

Anyway, thank you again!

Cheers,

Mike
