Problem after installing 2020.02

I just installed the latest update. Now when I hover over an event, nothing happens - it does not show me the details such as something written under "description." (Is that the tooltip that's missing? I did check to see that it is selected.)

I apologize for the problem. I'm not seeing this on any of my test computers, so I'm not sure what is causing the problem. Please click the View menu and make sure "Show Tooltips" is checked.

If that doesn't fix the problem, have you tried rebooting? If rebooting doesn’t fix the problem, there might be something wrong with your VueMinder installation. To fix the problem, use the Control Panel to uninstall VueMinder (this won’t remove any data). Reboot after uninstalling. Next, download and reinstall using the link below:

Unfortunately, it did not fix the problem. I went through the uninstall/install procedure twice and still don't have tooltips. Is it possible for me to roll back to 2020.01?

I'm not sure that reinstalling 2020.01 will make any difference, but if you want to try it, you can download the installer for VueMinder Pro 2020.01 by using the link below. You'll need to use the Control Panel to uninstall version 2020.02 before installing 2020.01.

Thanks for the link. Going back to 2020.01 did not help. I allowed update to 2020.02 again. No tooltips on either the full-sized calendar or the mini desktop calendar. I miss that feature.

Thank you for the information. I think something might be wrong with your settings. Please try these steps:
1. Click the "Options -> Program" menu command.
2. Click the folder button on the right side of the "Data folder" field. VueMinder's data folder will open in File Explorer.
3. Click the "File -> Exit" menu command to exit VueMinder.
4. Delete the files named ProgramSettings.xml, ProgramSettings.backup, and ToolbarsUser.xml.
5. Restart VueMinder.

Does that fix it? If not, has something else changed on your computer? Do you use any 3rd party tools that change how Windows works, such as custom skins, desktop managers, etc? Maybe one of those tools is interfering with the tooltips. I can't think of any other explanation and nobody else has reported this problem, so it's probably something specific to your computer or Windows installation.
