Microsoft Update KB4486105

Update KB4486105 for Windows 8.1 for x64 causes instant crash for VueMinder Pro.

I installed KB4486105 this morning and rebooted then, but did not use the computer for some hours. I then had to reboot because fireFox froze and when I rebooted both VueMinder Pro and Razer Synapse crashed during startup. It was a Windows message box stating that VueMinder Pro had stopped working, (and after that there was a similar popup for Razer Synapse)

There were two buttons:-
Check online for a solution and close the program
Close the program.

Naturally neither of those were acceptable to me ( a major failing with Microsoft Windows).

Rebooting and a cold restart did not help. A web search for KB4486105 found "Backup Exec console crashes after installing .NET Framework 4.8" That error was not for Windows 8.2 x64 but I thought: there are no coincidences.

So I uninstalled KB4486105 and after the reboot both VueMinder Pro and Razer Synapse worked. So this is no longer urgent for me as I have now hidden KB4486105 and will not be installing it again.

All users of Vueminder should not install KB4486105.
