Hi There
Is there a way to flush the database?
I freequently am making changes and they are not relfected for some period of time.
For example if I have
- Calendar_A (visible); and
- Calendar_B (not visible)
and I do the following:
- Open an event in Calendar_A;
- Change the calendar for this event to Calendar_B
I am expecting the event to disapear (no longer visible)
But this does not happen.
If I edit the event again I can see the change has been saved.
If I navigate around/shut down restart then the event will disappear.
Thanks for any reply

Re: Is there a way to flush the database
Hi slouw, when you edit an event and assign it to a calendar that isn't visible, the calendar will be automatically made visible (look at the check boxes next to the calendar names to see it happen). VueMinder does this intentionally, since having the event disappear immediately after being saved could result in confusion. When this happens, you can hide the event again by unchecking the box next to its newly associated calendar. Does that fix it for you?

Re: Is there a way to flush the database
Here is an example.
In the events view this calendar entry is considered to be in the "Business" category.
When I edit the series it is in the "0" category.
I have not changed anything in case you want me to take some debugging steps.
Many thanks for any reply and instructions.
Everything seems very slow as well, always has done since I trialed Vueminder.
See this related post:

I am trying to cleanup/debug/fix my install.
It is so much slower than any of my other app.
Once again my thanks

Re: Is there a way to flush the database
Thank you for the information. I haven't been able to replicate the problem, so I'm not sure what is causing it. You might be able to fix it by deleting the series and re-creating it.

Re: Is there a way to flush the database
I will post more examples here as they come up.
It is not just this.
If I change the EventX from calendarA to CalendarB as previously mentioned I have seen this.
And other issues.
Thanks....
