Tables in editor

Post by mihal.v » Tue Sep 19, 2017 1:59 pm

1. VueMinder extremely expands cells width when you type rather short text (scrn1.png).

2. Type some text and press Align - Center (Left or Right). VM will expand cell height (scrn2.png).

3. Create table. In cell A1 (let's use Excel terms) type some text, press Right arrow to go to cell B1. Type some text in cell B1 and press Right arrow. Instead of moving cursor to cell C1 VM will add trailing space in cell B1.

4. Insert simple table from Excel. First of all VM doesn't recognize pasted table as a table. Right click on any cell and you will not see "Cell Properties" or "Table" group of commands (scrn3.png). But you can press on outside border to select all table and find Table Properties in submenu. Go to Table Properties - Cell Properties. Set Horizontal alignment to Center, Vertical alignment to Middle. Check Apply setting to all cells. VM then makes smth terrible with your table (scrn4.png).
