Calendar wipes out every time i restart my laptop

Post by Aubint » Mon Feb 13, 2017 2:24 pm

ok this is a very concerning problem that has become quite the upset here at home. Every time I start my laptop from being shut down my vue pro is totally wipes out with all my appointments gone and looks like the very first time you start out. I am done pulling my hair out. I am scrambling to make sure I have not missed any appointments and I am tired of reentering things and setting up my personal preferences. Please tell me you know what I am talking about and you have a solution for me. Thank goodness I do sync with google or I would be rolling around on the floor crying kicking and screaming.
Thanks in Advance for you help,
Aubint That's Me :)

Hi Tammy, VueMinder should automatically save your data whenever changes are made. It sounds like there could be a problem writing the data file. This could happen if you changed the data location to a folder that your account is unable to write. Please open the Program Options (via the Options menu) and change the data folder to a location you know can be written, such as under "Documents".

If that doesn't fix it, there could be something wrong with your installation. Please use the "Uninstall a program" area of the Control Panel to uninstall VueMinder. Reboot after uninstalling. Next, download and reinstall using the link below: ... _Setup.exe

If that doesn’t solve it, please make sure you have .NET Framework 4.6.2 installed. You can download it using the link below: ... x?id=53344

If you still see the problem after installing .NET Framework 4.6.2, there might be a problem with the program data file. You can use the utility linked below to completely reset the data.
