Other SMS provider

Hi, I already have an SMS account with Green Text (www.gntext.com). is there a way to use this company so that I can send text reminders to my phone? Alternatively we also have a Skype account that can send SMS although we have not used it since migrating to Green Text and since more importantly since Skype was acquired by Microsoft
