printing problem

Post by dalemac81 » Thu Dec 31, 2009 12:38 pm

Seem to have a lot of trouble printing. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the printers and the drivers. I can print from every other program on my computer. I was getting an "invalid handle" error and now I am getting the "out of memory" error. I was trying to go into the autopreview to see what I was printing since I new printing it straight would give me an error, but I was getting no option to print in that setting. It was just a picture of what it should look like but it wouldn't allow me to print. But now I just get a message in the auto preview that says my parameters are not valid. If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them, been working on this for three days now and my plans for what I was printing are pretty well shot now.

I'm not sure what could be causing this, and haven't seen this behavior in my testing, but I'll work on figuring it out. Thanks for letting me know about the problem.

I am also suddenly getting this same error.
I am using version 8.0.1 on Windows 7 64.

When I preview for printing the page is greyed out and says:
Parameter is invalid

If I still try to print, it says:
the handle is invalid

If there is a fix for this problem, I would really appreciate the info.

Thanks!
Sheri

Hi Sheri, welcome to the forums. The first thing to try would be rebooting your computer. If that doesn't fix it, try reinstalling your printer driver.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
