All day events are being deleted after syncing with Outlook

All day events are being deleted after syncing with Outlook

I've been setting up some calendars and I noticed today that all the "all day" events were missing. I re-entered the events and went on with other work. A few minutes later I noticed they were gone again. So here's what I did:

1. Entered a new event with as an "all day" event.
2. Sync'd with Outlook.
3. Checked Outlook calendar, event did not show up.
4. Checked VueSoft calendar, event was still there.
5. Sync'd with Outlook again.
6. Checked Outlook calendar, event didn't show up.
7. Checked VueSoft calendar, event had been deleted.

I suspect that sense the event didn't get to Outlook, on the 2nd sync VueSoft saw the event as being deleted in outlook and deleted the event. I'm using Office 2003 edition.

Could you help shed some light on this issue? Thanks

Update

I deleted the calendar out of Outlook and let VueSoft sync and recreate the calendar. This seemed to have fixed the issue.

Hi Dave, thanks for the update. I'm not sure what may have caused the behavior you saw, and haven't seen it myself, but I'll run some more tests to see if I can replicate the problem. If you notice it happening again, please let me know.
