VM Keeps Locking Up in Windows 8.1
VM Keeps Locking Up in Windows 8.1
Sometimes when adding an event or a note the box comes up with the header information then after a few seconds it goes to "not responding" and I have to close it using Task Manager and open back up. Then works fine for awhile.

Re: VM Keeps Locking Up in Windows 8.1
Hi mmicscams, welcome to the forums. The behavior you're seeing is not a known bug and it's not something I see when running on Windows 8.1. Have you tried rebooting?
If rebooting doesn't fix the problem, there might be something wrong with the VueMinder installation. To fix the problem, use the Control Panel to uninstall VueMinder (this won’t remove any data). Reboot after uninstalling. Next, download and reinstall using the link below:
http://www.vueminder.com/Download.aspx
If that doesn’t solve it, there could be something wrong with the .NET Framework 4.0 or 4.5 installation. If you’re running Windows 7, you can use the Control Panel to uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or 4.5. Reboot after uninstalling and then use the link below to reinstall the .NET Framework 4.5.

If you still see the problem after reinstalling the .NET Framework, there might be a problem with the program data file. You can use the utility linked below to completely reset the data.
http://www.vueminder.com/download/ResetData.zip
After resetting the data and restarting VueMinder, use the “Restore Data” command on the File menu to restore from a backup.
Please let me know if that doesn't fix the problem or if you have any other questions.
