Newbie Needs Help

Post by desgnr » Sun Mar 22, 2015 9:03 am

Just installed Vue Minder & added my Outlook & Gmail accounts, but they are not syncing.
I think it might be in the naming of the account's.
At the top of screen it say's Vue minder With my Google account name.
Under Calendars it says Outlook & Desgnr43 @gmail.
Where am i going wrong ?
Any Help appreciated.

Hi desgnr, welcome to the forums. VueMinder can sync with Outlook and Google Calendar, but each calendar syncs separately. There's currently no mechanism to sync the same calendar with BOTH Outlook and Google Calendar. However, this is on my list of planned improvements for the next major release.

Also, I see in your screenshot the checkbox next to your Google Calendar is unchecked. This will result in all your Google Calendar events being hidden, which might be related to the problem you're having. If you check the box, you should see your events.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi desgnr, it sounds like you have added your birthdays and appointments to both Outlook and Google Calendar. VueMinder is configured to sync with both calendars, so you're seeing the same events. If you don't want to see the duplicates, then delete them from either your Outlook calendar or Google Calendar.
