new calendar
In creating new calendar the events from a previous calendar were in the new calendar. How do I have a separate calendar not showing events in the previous calendar?

Hi Mike, welcome to the forums. VueMinder overlays all calendars into a single view, by default. This means that when you create a new event, it will appear the Day/Week/Month view, regardless of which calendar the event is associated with.
To override this behavior, click the settings button in the upper-right corner of the Month view (the button looks like a gear) and then uncheck the “View in Overlay Mode” option. The Day and Week views have a similar option. See the “Overlay Mode” section of the documentation linked below for more details:
