It continues to be the same. I publish on my desktop. I subscribe on my laptop, and ask to update. Allll the old reminders come up again, and allll the old completed events, too. No change from before.
In addition, now, I have lost alllll my recurring events such as birthdays/anniversaries category events. Now, also, when I click "Today," today's date box appears on the bottom line as opposed to the top line as in my desktop.

When did your desktop last publish the ICS file that you are subscribing to on the laptop? Re-publish the ICS file and then look at the file date/time in Windows Explorer to confirm it has been updated. Make sure your laptop is subscribed to the same file and not an older copy that was placed somewhere else.

Sunday morning.
Started over again. Created a new ICS file on my network and published it at 11:18 AM. Then, I went to my laptop and subscribed to it and got the same response. See image

Could you send the ICS file to support@vueminder.com? I'll check if it contains any duplicate events. If it does, I'll remove the duplicates and send you instructions on how to completely reset all your data on both computers and then use the corrected ICS file for sharing.
