MLB Calendars

Post by cptkirk » Wed Mar 27, 2013 5:28 pm

MLB sport calendars, Yankees & Mets are only showing last years events.
I did not look at other teams, maybe all are like this.
Need new current 2013 games not last years. Can you fix this.
Thanks

Hi cptkirk, welcome to the forums. VueMinder gets the MLB calendars from http://www.mysportscal.com/. They don't have updated calendars yet for 2013. I apologize for the inconvenience and will update VueMinder to use the 2013 MLB calendars as soon as they are available.

Okay, I emailed www.mysportscal.com to ask for updates.
MLB site has schedules downloadable now, so maybe be available soon.

Thanks.

I've found a different source for the 2013 MLB schedule.

1. In your web browser, go to http://sportycal.com/main/index.
2. Click "Baseball" or whatever other sport you'd like.
3. Drill down to the calendar you want and then click the "Link" button on that calendar's page.
4. A window will popup with a link. Select the link and copy it.
5. In VueMinder, click the "Add Calendar Subscription" command on the File menu.
6. Paste (Ctrl+V) the copied link into the subscription location.
7. Click OK. The calendar will download within a few seconds.

I've updated the "Add Public Calendars" window to use a different source (Yahoo Sports) for the MLB calendars. The cool thing about the new calendars is that they'll show the scores for past games in the event description. They also show which network(s) will be airing games.
